Kwieciński has been with ORLEN Deutschland since September 2, 2024 – initially as Executive Director of Sales and Marketing, and most recently as Senior Executive Director. He had already held various positions within the ORLEN Group between 2010 and 2014: first as Director of the Trade and Logistics Office at ORLEN Gaz, and later as Director of International Trading & Wholesale Support at ORLEN S.A. With his extensive experience within the Group, he is now once again contributing to the development of ORLEN's business in Germany.

With more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Kwieciński has extensive expertise. He began his career at the LOTOS Group, formerly the Gdansk refinery. Further management positions took him to well-known companies such as Mazeikiu Nafta and PERN. Over the course of his career, he has gained a wide range of expertise in various areas of the industry - from market analyses, logistics, purchasing and marketing to price management and wholesale. He has also managed numerous pioneering projects, particularly in the context of change management and business process optimization.

Kwieciński holds a master’s degree in Transport and Logistics from the University of Gdansk, obtained in 1998. In 2010, he completed postgraduate studies in Practical Social Psychology at SWPS University in Warsaw. In 2015, he completed a four-year doctoral programme in management science at Kozminski University in Warsaw.

With the appointment of Dariusz Kwieciński, the Management Board of ORLEN Deutschland GmbH has grown to two members. Dennis Kulbach has been part of the Management Board as Chief Operating Officer (COO) since 1 December 2024. In their respective roles, both report to the ORLEN Group's headquarters in Warsaw, to which ORLEN Deutschland GmbH belongs as a wholly owned subsidiary.
